As a typical Pinoy, I know you will agree with me.... when it comes to choosing the right salon for you, you need a YES to these 3 categories:
- you must trust your stylist. He/she must be your BFF when it comes to your hair needs. Not just any other stylists who will push a certain hairstyle or hair color because its uso or expensive
- your stylist must be an expert. Hey, your hair is your crowning glory, you don't want any mediocre stylist touching it!
- Budget friendly. I am a WiseMom, and need to be always wais. Salon services need not be that expensive. You just have to know where to go for the best deal.
And this is the great news I have for you my dear mommy readers.... I got invited to the opening of new salon in the Greenhills area. And so far.... it fits the 3 categories I mentioned above. And I am so excited about the discovery!
HAIR POST BY NIKKI BACAY:
You might ask... who is Nikki Bacay?
Nikki Bacay has been in the hairstyling industry for almost two decades. A native from Mindoro, Nikki went to Manila and discovered his talent in haircutting. While working at a high-end salon, a client saw his potential and he was offered international training to hone his craft.
In 2000, he went to HongKong and trained how to cut and color through Pivot Point Training Center. By 2001, he was already reaping rewards for his cutting and coloring techniques which include The L'oreal Color Trophy and the Philippine Hairdresser of the year. In 2008, German salon brand Schwarzkopf Professional chose Nikki to become their ambassador. Ever since, Nikki has been going to different countries every 6 months to further master his craft. He has been to Japan, Taipei, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore to update himself with the recent styles and tecniques in CUT and Color.
Nikki is loved by his loyal clients around the Greenhills area because of his beautiful and wearable hair creations. Using high-end products, Nikki can transform a dull look to a modern wearable style. He believes that Hair Cutting goes hand in hand with Contour Coloring. Nikki also analyzes the face shape of the client before he cuts and color. He also asks the client's lifestyle so he can give the perfect cut and color.
During the grand launch... Nikki unveiled some of his most interesting hairstyles using a technique called Camouflage, a burst of colors... but not too obvious!
