MY VIVERE SALON GALLERIA EXPERIENCE WITH RHEIGN CALSO

When it comes to my hair.... I've always been traditional. As in makaluma talaga :) The only time I experimented on my hair was when I put one long streak of blond-ish color on it. I did it myself with bleach and tin foil, circa..... 2003!

But as they say.... YOLO! I think its about time to make a change. Time for some real hair color by the expert. When I got this chance to visit VIvere Salon Galleria, I came in prepared. Below are some of my "pegs" for my hair color! I wanted some streaks. Bonus if the streaks come in blue, green, red and violet.

I went to Vive Salon Galleria and met my stylist, Rheign Calso. He is the youngest stylist in the Vivere family and recently promoted as senior stylist I showed him my peg and we talked about my options.

According to Rheign, my hair has black and it will be hard to bleach. Need kasi ipantay ang kulay. So he did his best to even out my hair color with bleach.

Then he put my base color which is gold copper.

Then its time to put on the highlights. He recommended copper extra. I would have preferred something lighter for the highlights to be more notice-able.

After the highlights, they washed my hair and put on some hair treatment to prevent dryness. There is a big possibility that when your hair is bleached it will become very dry.
Good thing I have Schwarzkopz Color Freeze Thermo Protect Cream at home.

So after close to 4 hours this is the result of my Vivere Salon Makeover:

MRS.WISE VERDICT:

Was I happy with the result? Yes and No.

No, because I still would have liked striking highlights on my hair. Something similar to my peg.

Yes, because Stylist Rheign explained to me well, in a nice and informed manner why it won't work on my hair. He told me that if I really wanted to get my "pegs" it will mean that he will bleach my hair for 2 hours, and there will be a risk that my hair might get too dry and be damaged. He told me, now that my hair color is lighter, when I come back to Vivere, in two months time, he can do Hair goal #2. Patience is the key. Hindi puede basta biglain ang buhok with bleach Rheign said.
